RETURNS & WARRANTIES POLICY

Last Updated: September 10, 2026

At Blacksmith Tactical, our holsters are individually manufactured according to the options selected by each customer. Please review your order carefully before submitting it.

This policy explains our rules regarding custom orders, returns, order errors, and our Limited Lifetime Warranty.

1. CUSTOM HOLSTERS — FINAL SALE

Blacksmith Tactical holsters are manufactured to order according to the customer's selected configuration.

Because production may begin shortly after an order is placed, custom holster orders are final sale and are not eligible for cancellation, return, refund, or exchange because of a change of mind or customer ordering error.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all selections before placing an order, including, when applicable:

  • Firearm manufacturer and model;
  • Firearm generation or variant;
  • Barrel or slide length;
  • Weapon-mounted light;
  • Right- or left-handed configuration;
  • Holster style and carry configuration;
  • Color or pattern;
  • Sweat guard;
  • Belt attachment or hardware;
  • Optic or sight configuration; and
  • Any other options selected during ordering.

Compatibility with one firearm, light, accessory, generation, or variant does not necessarily mean compatibility with another.

If you are unsure about compatibility, please contact Blacksmith Tactical before placing your order.

2. ORDERING MISTAKES AND ORDER CHANGES

Customers are responsible for the selections submitted with their orders.

However, we understand that mistakes happen.

If you discover a significant mistake after placing your order—such as selecting the wrong firearm, weapon-mounted light, or handedness—contact us as soon as possible at info@blacksmithtactical.com.

If production has not progressed too far, we may be able to accommodate a change at our discretion.

We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled after it has been submitted.

Our willingness to accommodate an order change in one instance does not create an obligation to accommodate future changes or cancellations.

3. BLACKSMITH TACTICAL ORDER OR MANUFACTURING ERRORS

Our final-sale policy does not mean that you're stuck with a product if Blacksmith Tactical made an error.

If you receive a product that is materially different from the configuration you actually ordered, or you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, contact us so we can evaluate the issue.

Examples may include receiving the wrong:

  • Firearm configuration;
  • Weapon-light configuration;
  • Handedness;
  • Holster model; or
  • Other material option that differs from the submitted order.

If Blacksmith Tactical determines that we manufactured or shipped the product incorrectly, we will correct the issue at no additional charge to you, as appropriate.

4. LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Blacksmith Tactical warrants our holsters against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, subject to the exclusions and limitations described below.

This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

If Blacksmith Tactical determines that a covered product has failed because of a defect in materials or workmanship, we will repair or replace the product at no charge, at our discretion.

Replacement products may vary slightly from the original product if materials, colors, patterns, hardware, designs, or components have changed or are no longer available.

5. WHAT THE LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

The Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover damage, fitment issues, or failures resulting from:

  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Cosmetic wear, scratches, scuffs, fading, or other appearance changes that do not materially affect function;
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, or improper use;
  • Improper maintenance or storage;
  • Modification, cutting, drilling, heating, reshaping, or alteration of the holster;
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications;
  • Exposure to excessive heat or other conditions that deform or damage the product;
  • Lost, improperly installed, or improperly adjusted screws, hardware, or components;
  • Use with an incorrect or incompatible firearm;
  • Use with an incorrect or incompatible weapon-mounted light;
  • Use with unsupported accessories or configurations;
  • Changes or modifications to the firearm after the holster was manufactured;
  • Aftermarket frames, slides, compensators, gas pedals, takedown levers, optics, sights, grip modifications, or other components that affect fit or function;
  • Customer ordering errors; or
  • Damage caused by failure to discontinue use after the product becomes damaged, excessively worn, or otherwise unsuitable for continued use.

A fitment problem caused by a firearm, weapon-mounted light, accessory, or configuration that differs from what was ordered is not a manufacturing defect.

6. HOLSTER FIT AND RETENTION

Holsters are manufactured for the firearm and, where applicable, weapon-mounted light and other configuration specified in the customer's order.

For light-bearing holsters, the specified weapon-mounted light may be an integral part of the holster's fit and retention system. A holster designed for a particular firearm/light combination should not be assumed to function properly with the light removed or with a different light installed.

Firearm and accessory manufacturers may also make dimensional or design changes over time. Aftermarket components can likewise alter the dimensions of a firearm.

If you experience a fitment issue, contact us before modifying the holster so we can help determine the cause.

7. SAFE FITMENT TESTING

Always test a holster with a completely unloaded firearm before carrying or using the holster with a loaded firearm.

Before carrying a loaded firearm, the user is responsible for verifying proper:

  • Firearm compatibility;
  • Fit;
  • Retention;
  • Trigger-guard coverage; and
  • Overall holster function.

Do not use a holster that is damaged, excessively worn, improperly fitted, incompatible with the firearm or installed accessories, or that permits unintended access to or movement of the trigger.

Whether a firearm is carried with a cartridge in the chamber is the decision and responsibility of the firearm owner and user. Users should consider the firearm manufacturer's instructions, their training and competency, applicable law, the specific firearm, and the method of carry.

Additional firearm and holster safety requirements are contained in our Terms and Conditions.

8. WARRANTY CLAIMS

To request warranty service, contact:

info@blacksmithtactical.com

Please provide enough information for us to identify the order and evaluate the problem. We may request photographs, order information, or other reasonable information concerning the product and claimed issue before authorizing a return.

Do not ship a product back to Blacksmith Tactical without first contacting us and receiving return instructions.

We may be able to evaluate some issues without requiring the product to be returned.

If a return is necessary, follow the return instructions provided by Blacksmith Tactical.

9. WARRANTY SHIPPING

If Blacksmith Tactical determines that a product has a covered manufacturing defect or that we manufactured or shipped the product incorrectly, Blacksmith Tactical will cover reasonable shipping costs necessary to correct the issue.

If inspection determines that the problem is not covered by the Limited Lifetime Warranty—for example, because of customer ordering error, incompatible equipment, misuse, modification, or normal wear—the customer may be responsible for shipping and any other applicable costs.

10. NON-CUSTOM ACCESSORIES AND ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS

Eligible non-custom accessories and electrical components may be returned within 30 days of delivery if they are:

  • Unused;
  • Unopened; and
  • In their original packaging and original condition.

Customers are responsible for return shipping on voluntary returns.

A 5% restocking fee applies to eligible voluntary returns.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable on voluntary returns unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Please contact Blacksmith Tactical before returning an item to receive return instructions.

11. THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS AND MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES

Products manufactured by third parties may be covered by warranties offered by their respective manufacturers.

Any such manufacturer's warranty is provided by the manufacturer—not Blacksmith Tactical—and is subject to that manufacturer's own terms, conditions, exclusions, procedures, and eligibility requirements.

Blacksmith Tactical does not control or guarantee a third-party manufacturer's warranty determination.

12. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

The remedies described in this Limited Lifetime Warranty are limited to repair or replacement, at Blacksmith Tactical's discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

This Limited Lifetime Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state or jurisdiction.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
